Certain records you have been searching for only come around once in a blue moon, and we do our best to try and help you with that by securing the best premium, high end stock around. Some of the titles we see regularly, but now and then you may just find the white whale you have desperately been searching for.
We’ve highlighted three of our latest premium arrivals below, and you can find the rest of our wonderful titles over at eil.com.
ABBA Voyage (Website Exclusive – Set of Four 2021 Japanese issue limited edition enhanced SHM-CD’s [Super High Material CD – playable on all CD players], each with a picture insert for a different band member, each featuring different bonus content. The version for Agnetha has just the standard album, Benny has bonus ‘ABBA In Japan’ Double DVD, Bjorn includes ‘ABBA Gold’ bonus disc, and Frida ‘The Essential Collection’ bonus DVD. Each housed in a fold-out card picture sleeve with lyrics and obi-strip, and remains in a brand-new shop bought condition still in the hype-stickered re-sealable bag. But that is not all, this fantastic set also includes a ‘Not For Sale’ custom printed multipurpose PVC hand pouch. A must have for any fan!).
QUEEN Reina Asesina (Rare 1975 Chilean solid centre 7″ vinyl on the black & silver EMI Odeon label, for the single Killer Queen, also including Moviendo Las Muñecas (Flick Of The Wrist) – titles listed in Spanish & English, housed in a plastic EMI Odeon ‘Disco 7’ blue & white company sleeve. The sleeve has only light wear, and amazingly, the vinyl shows minimal signs of play with only a few very light scuffs on the playing surface. An outstanding find in incredible condition. One of the hardest pressings to find from Chile!).
ROLLING STONES Little Red Rooster (Mega rare 1964 Dutch 7″ vinyl single, also including Off The Hook. This single was manufactured in the UK for export, with black & silver curved Decca labels, housed in a unique wraparound picture sleeve. This sleeve design is one of a series of different psychedelic colour variants in the ‘Favorieten Expres’ series, this version has Blue, Yellow & Red merging into each colour, along with a black & white image of the band, this is the rarest variation printed. The cover has some mild creasing along the top and a small tear in the top left corner, there is also a number written on the front & back, and has a vintage record shop sticker attached to the reverse. The labels are clean with just a few light spindle marks, whilst the vinyl is graded VG+/EX-, with a few minor cosmetic surface marks but plays Excellent. A nice example of this rare and hard to find pressing, the first we have ever seen).
