HANK MOBLEY Straight No Filter (1986 French 6-track stereo LP featuring previously unreleased sessions recorded in 1963, 1965 & 1966 with either Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard or Donald Byrd on Trumpet, McCoy Tyner, Barry Harris or Herbie Hancockon Piano, Bob Cranshaw, Paul Chambers or Butch Warren on Bass & Billy Higgins or Philly Joe Jones on Drums. The picture sleeve & vinyl are Near Mint with few signs of wear or play BST84435).
ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Blow-Up (2014 UK/EU 13-track stereo LP pressed on 180-gram audiophile vinyl, featuring music from the soundtrack to the classic 1966 Antonioni film by Herbie Hancock, including that bassline on Bring Down The Birds plus Stroll On by The Yardbirds, one of only three rare tracks featuring both Jeff Beck & Jimmy Page! The songs evoke the ambience of swinging Sixties’ London with grooves that create effective bluesy Jazz moods on the slow pieces, and funky ones on the up-tempo tracks.
