If you were still buying vinyl in the ‘90s, you probably didn’t think that one day albums by Oasis, My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and countless others would be worth far more than you paid for them. While a lot of iconic albums from that time have seen high quality reissues, there’s no substitute for finding original pressings from the era. It’s not that sort of things that comes through doors every day here at eil.com, and when they do, they don’t stay for long.

BECK Odelay! (Classic 1996 US limited edition first issue 13-track LP pressed on 180gram Vinyl, including the singles Where It’s At, Devil’s Haircut, The New Pollution, Sissyneck and Jack-Ass. The glossy picture sleeve shows a little shelfwear to the corners but comes complete with the double-sided fold out credits poster insert, merch insert and Bong Load company sticker while the vinyl shows just a few light spindle marks with just the odd faint hairline with no impact on play BL30).
MY BLOODY VALENTINE This Is Your Bloody Valentine (Scarce 1990 German Dossier label reissue of their 1985 DEBUT 7-track vinyl mini-album LP featuring a collection of their earlier gothic rock & post-punk sound, which contrasts the shoegazing sound for which they are associated, including re-recorded versions of ‘Girl On The 13th Floor’, ‘Halfwalk’, ‘Last Tango In Paradise’, ‘The Garden Of Delight’ and ‘Don’t Cramp My Style’ which were included on their original demo tape. The glossy pink, blue & white picture sleeve has minimal shelfwear and the vinyl remains in wonderful ‘barely played’ condition).
CHAPTERHOUSE Whirlpool (Rare 1991 UK Dedicated Records limited edition 9-track vinyl LP, the debut album from the British shoegaze act including the single ‘Pearl’. Complete with the bonus single-sided 12″ containing ‘Die Die Die’. The custom-stickered picture sleeve has just a small amount of shelfwear with a small corner crease but comes with the picture / credit inner and the two vinyl discs look barely played DEDLP001S).
