What is an audiophile pressing?
Well, in a nutshell, it’s an audio format pressed to help enhance the sound quality, be that on vinyl or Compact Disc.
The idea being the heavier the vinyl pressing, the better. There have been pressings released from 120 up to 200 Gram in weight, usually the 200 Gram will play at 45rpm providing a better audio experience, instead of the standard 33 1/3rpm.
Compact Discs have various different formats, gold was used in the earlier pressing as it supposedly provided a better a clearer sound reproduction.
Mobile Fidelity are known for being one of the leaders in producing vinyl and CDs of an audiophile grade, with the original releases now highly collectable.
We now have Super Audio CDs, SHM-CD providing a high-fidelity-audio, Blu-Spec CDs using Blu-ray technology, along with DVD-Audio using DVD technology, both providing surround sound audio.

Complete with a download code voucher and Abbey RoadCertificate of authenticity, both discs are untouched and sit nestled inside a gatefold picture sleeve which remains sealed and comes with the Obi spine strip! RADIOHEAD A Moon Shaped Pool (Rare 2016 UK limited edition 11-track double LP pressed on Audiophile quality 180 Gram Heavyweight White Vinyl – the ninth studio album by the English rock band, including Burn The Witch and Daydreaming. Housed in a gatefold picture sleeve has silver-embossed titling on the front plus digital download code – still sealed in its hype-stickered shrinkwrap with barcode sticker on the reverse. XLLP790X).
ROLLING STONES Sticky Fingers Live At The Fonda Theatre 2015 (2015 US limited edition sealed 16-track treble LP pressed on 180gram Heavyweight Vinyl, tri-fold picture sleeve. Comprising the seminal Sticky Fingers album played inits entirety plus a selection of fan favourites. Complete with the Bonus Region 0 NTSC DVD containing the entire live performance at the Fonda Theatre in California in 2015. This copy is still sealed and in ‘as new’ condition EV308029).
