We’ve highlighted three of our latest premium arrivals below, and you can find the rest of our wonderful titles over at eil.com.
IRON MAIDEN The Complete Albums Collection 1980-1988 (2014 UK limited edition box set, featuring the complete Eight Remastered album set, from Iron Maiden to Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son and including the double Live After Death, all pressed on Audiophile quality 180 Gram Heavyweight Vinyl and in their own individual picture sleeve, all housed within the 12½” x 12½” x 1½” red & white titled slipcase style box displaying the artwork & tracklistings for the complete set on the back. The box itsef still has the original opened shrink and all of the albums remain factory sealed. Perfect for the well versed completist or for the casual fan to pick up the lot in one swoop!).
LOVE Forever Changes (Very rare first press MONO 1967 UK 11-track vinyl LP from Arthur Lee & co, widely considered one of the Top 10 must-have psych records from the sixties, with A1/B1 matrices, ‘rough’ textured solid orange labels & fully laminated picture sleeve with pinched spine. The sleeve has only light signs of creasing to the laminate at the edges and a little age related wear with no rips or tears. There are a few spindle marks on the labels to indicate play (who wouldn’t want to spin such aclassic?) but nothing excessive. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & despite a few light scuffs & hairlines the playback quality is superb – any surface noise is kept to a minimum. This is a respectable VG copy of a must-own sixties original! EKL4013).
CARAVAN Waterloo Lily (1972 UK first press 6-track LP on the tan & white Deram label, the band’s fourth longplayer with a distinctly jazzy feel & the only album to feature Stephen Miller on keyboards. Includes the twelve minute plus suite ‘The Love In Your Eye’. Comes housed in the original matte gatefold sleeve detailing a scene from “The Tavern Scene” [or The Orgy] from A Rake’s Progress by William Hogarth with artwork of a large buxom lady spread across the inner sleeve. Classic Canterbury Prog! This is a superb one previous owner example. The cover appears Near Mint with few signs of any wear & the vinyl is nice & clean & grades Near Mint with merely the lightest paper hairline from being taken out the inner bag in no way affecting play. The best copy we’ve ever seen! SDL8).
