UK Official Vinyl Album LP Chart – Week commencing Friday 1st January 2021

New Month, New Year, New (Old) Chart…

There were no new releases last Friday, being Christmas… or “Chezmas” as it is affectionately referred to here at EIL towers in celebration of a much-loved colleague who makes sure all your orders are shipped out as quickly as possible by her team of legends. Therefore, another mighty round of ‘Musical (Chart) Chairs’ took place in the UK Vinyl Chart and there was no messing around. Amy Winehouse and her masterpiece ‘Back to Black’ returned to its rightful place while Paul McCartney and Arctic Monkeys both dropped a couple of places. Nirvana & Billie Eilish have both rejoined the Top Ten [the latter of which jumped TWENTY FOUR spots from 34 to 10] however, the Kings & Queens of the chart this week are Fleetwood Mac, who are at Numbers Seven AND Eight with Rumours and their Greatest Hits… All hail the Mac!
