ORIGINAL CAST RECORDING West Side Story – UK Stereo ‘rough’ textured orange CBS label issue 15-track vinyl LP – the original broadway cast recording of the celebrated Bernstein-Sondheim musical featuring Carol Lawrence, Larry Kert and Chita Rivera, front laminated flipback picture sleeve SBPG62060
PIERRE FOURNIER with GEORGE SZELL conducting THE CLEVELAND ORCHESTRA Don Quixote / Don Juan – Very rare early 1960s UK first issue 3-track STEREO vinyl LP on the blue & silver Columbia label, a superb recording of the ‘aristocrat of cellists’ with performances by Rafael Druian and Abraham Skernick, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows barely any trace of its age, with no real sign of laminate creasing or wear, whilst the vinyl is Near Mint – an amazing copy of this outstanding rarity, the first and realistically the last we are likely to see SAX2495
JOHN TAVENER The Whale – Original 1970 UK Apple label two-part LP, performed by The London Sinfonietta with Chorus conducted by David Atherton, starring Anna Reynolds [mezzo-soprano], Raimund Herincx [baritone], Alvar Lidell [speaker] & Tavenerhimself on Organ & Hammond, gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve has a tiny paper tear top right, barely noticeable on a white background, & otherwise appears Excellent. The vinyl remains near mint SAPCOR15
