GEORGE HARRISON All Those Years Ago (Mega rare 1981 Japanese only Dark Horse label one sided promotional-only 7″ Picture Disc. The playing side features a 3½” diameter picture of George as featured on the single and album artwork, surrounded by yellow and black artist/title text around the outside; the non-playing side shows the full-length George picture taken from the back of the ‘Somewhere In England’ album artwork. Due to being stored for many years inside a clear PVC sleeve, the playing surface has some a ‘mottling’ effect. We have cleaned & play tested and can confirm there is just a little lessening in sound quality but plays through without any problems. A really nice example of this impossible to find pressing PS-1013).
PINK FLOYD ’97 Vinyl Collection (Withdrawn 1997 UK limited edition Seven LP box set, incorrectly pressed on 120 Gram Vinyl – these were supposed to be 180 Gram pressings but the inital batch was not made to the required specification. This collector’s set comprises the classic albums The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, Relics, Atom Heart Mother, Animals, Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here & The Wall. Each gatefold picture sleeve displays a custom circular sticker on the front to resemble a die-cut & each one is complete with its picture insert & album credit inner, all housed together in a superb die-cut 12″ square x 3″ deep presentation slipcase. The box shows little of its age & there are various degrees of foxing to some of the inner sleeves, a common occurence with Japanese paper goods over time. The vinyl discs remain in Excellent condition on the whole – Piper At The Gates reveals some light paper hairline marks on the A-side but being one of the earliest Mono re-releases, these are rendered purely cosmetic on its intended mono setting during playback. A superb set SIGMA630).
