If you were still buying vinyl in the ‘90s, you probably didn’t think that one day albums by Oasis, My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, and countless others would be worth far more than you paid for them. While a lot of iconic albums from that time have seen high quality reissues, there’s no substitute for finding original pressings from the era. It’s not that sort of things that comes through doors every day here at eil.com, and when they do, they don’t stay for long.
The three titles below are just a taste of the ‘90s rarities we have in stock, and you can find the full catalogue at eil.com.
URIAH HEEP Different World (1991 UK 10-track vinyl LP, the groups eighteenth studio album, glossy picture sleeve with lyric inner. The sleeve displays just a little light wear to the edges, the inner has no splits or rips and the vinyl looks barely played, overall an excellent example LLP137).
IRON MAIDEN Fear Of The Dark (Rare 1992 UK 12-track double vinyl LP with picture labels, including the singles Be Quick Or Be Dead & From Here To Eternity, hype stickered gatefold picture sleeve featuring the ‘Eddie’ tree artwork by Melvin Grant-this was the first album NOT to feature artwork by Derek Riggs, complete with the merchandise insert. The sleeve has just a little spinewear, whilst the vinyl looks barely played, a really nice example EMD1032).
LED ZEPPELIN Remasters (1990 German 24-track vinyl triple compilation LP, digitally remastered by Jimmy Page and George Marino at Sterling Sound, New York, in May 1990, housed in a tri-fold glossy picture sleeve. The sleeve has a slight sticker mark in the top left corner and shows some light edgewear, whilst the vinyl looks barely played).
