While music was more popular during the 90’s than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes almost obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.
We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock and be sure to keep an eye on the latest arrivals at eil.com.
TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS Into The Great Wide Open (Rare 1991 German 12-track LP, complete with illustrated lyric inner, picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with a bit of corner scuffing & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play MCA10317).
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS Stone Temple Pilots (1994 UK limited edition 11-track Purple Vinyl LP including original lyric inner, hype stickered picture sleeve. Both the sleeve & vinyl are Near Mint).
SUEDE Suede (Rare 1993 UK 11-track vinyl LP, their classic debut album including So Young, Animal Nitrate, Metal Mickey and The Drowners.
