Certain records you have been searching for only come around once in a blue moon, and we do our best to try and help you with that by securing the best premium, high end stock around. Some of the titles we see regularly, but now and then you may just find the white whale you have desperately been searching for.
We’ve highlighted three of our latest premium arrivals below, and you can find the rest of our wonderful titles over at eil.com.
THE BEATLES HMV Boxed Sets (Fantastic complete set of 1987/88 TWELVE individually numbered HMV boxed Sets featuring every Beatles album from ‘Please Please Me’ to the Blue Album ‘1967-1970’, containing every track released during their career. Each box is complete with the CD & all original inserts/posters, apart from 2 badges missing from the ‘Abbey Road’ & ‘Let It Be’ titles. The boxes are in excellent condition showing little sign of age – a fantastic set that could cost around £1000 to buy individually!)
KING CRIMSON King Crimson (2004 Japanese limited edition reissue remastered Nine HDCD box set, includes the albums In the Court of the Crimson King, In the Wake of Poseidon, Lizard, Islands, Earthbound, Larks’ Tongues in Aspic, Starless And Bible Black, Red & USA. Each album in their own mini-LP style card picture sleeve with lyrics & ’21st Century Complete Edition Series’ picture obi-strip, all housed inside a slide-out slip case picture box with the artwork for the album’s on one side & a list of the contents on the spine. This exclusive box measures 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ in size, and was only available at Disc Union Tokyo for a short period of time, therefore they are highly sought-after and very hard to find).
SMALL FACES Small Faces (Rare 1966 UK 12-track MONO LP on the red unboxed deep groove Decca label, front laminated picture sleeve with pinched spine. Aside from a little general natural age yellowing to the unlaminated reverse with a couple ofdarker spots evident, the sleeve shows very little else in the way of significant wear with the laminated front remaining crisp, only minimal creasing at the spine and a little light wear to just its extreme corners, with the spine and all other text fully legible, no splits, rips, tears or writing evident and the panel colours remaining sharp & bright. The labels have some spindle marks evident to indicate play but the vinyl itself shows only a few faint hairlines or small surface scuffs on close inspection all pointing to just minimal use, certainly well cared for and nothing excessive, keeping it to a solid EX grade – overall a very strong, nice condition example of this cracker of a debut which comes highly recommended kicking off with that belter of a version of Sam Cooke’s Shake and the fun merely begins there! LK4790).
