This is an extremely rare 1962 UK first issue stereo pressing of Nathan Milstein with The Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Erich Leinsdorf’s Beethoven: Violin Concerto.
It is a 3-track vinyl LP on the highly-collectable blue & silver Columbia label, a superb recording by one of the Twentieth Century’s finest violinists, front laminated flipback picture sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. with original company catalogue inner.
The sleeve has just the faintest sign of age yellowing, with the pinchedspine sharp, the colours of the early-sixties graphics still bright and is graded as Near Mint. Apart from one small, faint hairlne scuff, the vinyl is graded as Near Mint, with the labels pristine and free from spindle wear.
An amazingly scarce record in an outstanding condition; not the kind of item we are ever likely to see again, and certainly not in such condition – a once in a lifetime chance!
