SPRING Spring (Monster rare original 1971 UK 8-track LP on the cult Neon label, particularly collectable among British Progressive enthusiasts. Spring earned a reputation among keyboard-led prog fans as they employed three mellotron players in the group! Tri-fold matt sleeve with lyrics across the inner spread. The sleeve has a little paper loss along the spine and a light scuffing to the edges but nothing too severe at all with a small area of sticker residue to the front. The labels are brightand clean with no spindle wear and barely any sign of play to the vinyl: beautiful. Highly recommended, and at a great price considering strictly mint copies are now fetching four figure sums! NE6).
THE BEATLES Please Please Me (Hard to find 1969 Japanese first Apple label issue 14-track STEREO LP pressed on ‘Everclean’ Red Vinyl. Housed in a unique Japanese-only gatefold picture sleeve with the glossyintegral 8-page lyric / photo booklet and the incredibly rare original red and yellow ‘Best’ obi-strip. There is little evidence of age with a few minor spots of foxing / age yellowing to the sleeve and the obi-strip but otherwise the package appears in fantastic condition for its forty five years, the vinyl remains excellent with only a few light cosmetic surface marks, otherwise a really nice example AP-8675).
METALLICA Whiplash (Rare original 1984 US-only 4-track 12″ EP with Megaforce silver labels, pressed on Translucent Vinyl, visible when held to the light, featuring the Special Neckbrace Remix and Jump In The Fire on the ‘Studio Side’, along with Seek And Destroy and Phantom Lord on the ‘Live Side’. The glossy picture sleeve has no barcode and remains in an outstanding condition with just the odd light sign of wear and age, and the viny remains in a ‘near as new’ condition with little signs of ever seeing a turntable. An outstanding example, the best we have ever seen! MRS-04).
