JOE HARRIOTT & JOHN MAYER Indo-Jazz Suite (1966 UK first issue 4-track MONO vinyl LP featuring a double Quintet under the direction of Mayer for one of the earliest East meets West experiments in jazz. The front-laminated flipback picture sleeve has the name of a previous owner carefully written on the unlaminated back in blue ink along with just a little age foxing while the vinyl displays only light signs of play for its fifty plus years! SX6025).
JULIE DRISCOLL & BRIAN AUGER Open (1967 UK 10-track MONO vinyl LP on the Marmalade label – A great record that managed to join the dots between Mod R&B, Folk & Pop, including their interpretations of Donovan’s ‘Season Of The Witch’ and LowellFulson’s ‘Tramp’, superb bluesy Hammond organ licks married to Driscoll’s hippie Dusty Springfield-esque vocals. The matte picture sleeve [VG] has some shelfwear and light discolouration to the edges while the vinyl has only light signs of play to show for its fifty plus years!).
