What is an autograph?

From Wikipedia, an autograph is a person’s own handwriting or signature. The word autograph comes from Ancient Greek (αὐτός, autós, “self” and γράφω, gráphō, “write”), and can mean more specifically a manuscript written by the author of its content, or a celebrity’s handwritten signature.

SHARPE & NUMAN New Thing From London Town – Autographed 1986 UK 7″ vinyl single, also including Time To Die. The paper picture sleeve has been signed by Gary Numan in blue point ben and Bill Sharpe in a golden pen both on the front. Looks great and ideal for framing.

JERMAINE JACKSON My Name Is Jermaine – Autographed 1976 UK 9-track LP, the third solo album from the Jackson 5 bass player, gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve displays some light general wear but, as already mentioned, this has been signed by Jermaine in the topleft front corner in a blue point pen, whilst the vinyl shows minimal signs of play. The was acquired from an ex EMI employee, who worked closely with the record label and their many artists.

RICH KIDS Marching Men – Autographed 1978 UK ‘A’ label demo vinyl 7″ for the single release with an intact four prong centre, also including Here Come The Nice, commercial release picture sleeve which has been dedicated to Viv and signed by Rusty Egan in black & Glen Matlock in a blue point pen. The sleeve displays just light wear and the vinyl looks barely played. This was acquired from an ex EMI employee, who worked closely with the record label and their many artists.

PIXIE LOTT Autographed Photograph – Superb 10″ x 8″ full colour promotional photograph of pop star Pixie Lott, which has been boldly signed and in black marker pen. This was obtained by the previous owner outside a hotel while the artist was on tour. Ideal for framing.

LIAM PAYNE LP1 – 2019 UK Limited ‘Amazon Exclusive’ Edition 17-track CD album – The debut solo studio album from the One Direction vocalist with guest appearances from Cheat Codes, Quavo, Rita Ora, J. Balvin, Jonas Blue & Lennon Stella and more, including the singles Strip That Down, Get Low, Polaroid and For You [taken from the ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ soundtrack]. The disc is UNPLAYED housed in the sealed jewel case complete with the picture booklet inlay which has been AUTOGRAPHED by Liam in silver marker pen!

LOUISE Heavy Love – 2020 UK Limited ‘Fanstore Exclusive’ Edition 12-track LP pressed on White Vinyl – Her fourth studio album but also the first that she has released in TWENTY years, including the singles Stretch, Lead Me On and Hammer.The vinyl is UNPLAYED and comes housed in the gatefold picture sleeve which remains sealed within its shrinkwrap but also comes accompanied by an 11.5″ x 8.5″ photo print of the album artwork which has been AUTOGRAPHED by Louise!
