H To He, Who Am The Only One is a very rare 1970 UK first issue 5-track vinyl LP on the pink ‘scroll’ Charisma label, housed in a stunning gatefold sleeve with lyrics printed on the reverse.
This third album by the band offers up a wonderfully bleak brand of prog rock featuring solid bass from Nic Potter [The Misunderstood], twisted Hammond organ riffs a-plenty from Hugh Banton, wonderfully skronky, aggressive sax from David Jackson all coupled with the anguished lyrics and vocal delivery from Mr Hammill himself.
The gatefold sleeve shows light scuffing along all edges and some areas of print fade to the front & back, the inner gatefold has some light rippling but is otherwise excellent with bright colour and clearly legible text. The vinyl is Excellent with just a handful of light scuffs to indicate play – a wonderful copy of an increasingly hard to find album CAS1027
