The vocalist, who played the original song over the PA at the end of his North American summer shows with Rob Zombie, has also revealed a video for the Shooter Jennings-produced track, with the visuals created by Zev Deans and based on an original watercolour painting by Manson.
The End is also available to purchase, while a limited edition picture disc is now available to pre-order. Only 2000 will be released and it’ll be available from March 6, 2020.
The End is the second cover released by Manson in recent months. In October, he launched a Tim Mattia-directed video for his take on American folk song God’s Gonna Cut You Down, which first appeared on the soundtrack to the 2017 film 24 Hours To Live.
And in September, it was revealed that Manson had landed a role in the third season of American Gods, which will will premiere on the Starz network in the US in 2020 and an internationally on Amazon Prime.
The show based on Neil Gaiman’s 2001 novel of the same name stars Ian McShane, Emily Browning, Ricky Whittle and Gillian Anderson – with Manson lined up to play Johan Wengren, the lead singer of Viking death metal band Blood Death.

THE DOORS Waiting For The Sun (Super rare 1968 first UK issue 11-track mono LP on the rough textured orange label with 'Made In Gt. Britain' perimeter label text along the bottom & A1/B1 matrices, gatefold matt picture sleeve with internal flipbacks. '68 was very late for a mono release, as stereo quickly became the norm. This is only the second copy we've ever stocked, in fact. The condition is VG. The sleeve has faded a little around the edges & scuffing is unavoidable due to itsplain matt finish. The vinyl reveals a fair amount of spindle marks, there are also some scuffs/hairlines commensurate with a VG grade, but after a deep, professional clean, playback is still immense. Thanks to the quality of sixties vinyl, any surface noise was kept to a bare minimum, there was no distortion & the record remains a highly enjoyable listen EKL4024)
