JIMI HENDRIX Band Of Gypsys – Puppet – VG (1970 first UK issue 6-track stereo LP on the black & silver Track label, housed in the withdrawn matt ‘puppet’ sleeve with pinched spine. The earliest copies of Band of Gypsys depicted puppets of Hendrix, Brian Jones, Bob Dylan & English DJ John Peel, found here. Reportedly Peel complained & the cover was withdrawn & replaced with a live photo of Hendrix!)
THE WHO Tommy (Rare 1969 UK first issue limited edition 25-track stereo double LP, complete with the 12-page numbered booklet & deluxe front laminated tri-fold picture sleeve with ‘2657002’ catalogue sticker to the reverse. The cover has niceclean inner panels & minimal wear to the laminate thanks to being stored in a plastic outer, the booklet has very few signs of age. The vinyl discs are Excellent & appear super clean with spindle marking to highlight play and just the odd surface paper scuff or light cosmetic hairline. A fantastic copy of this groundbreaking album nearly fifty years on!).
HUMBLE PIE Town And Country (Rare 1969 Japanese promo sample first issue 11-track LP pressed on RED vinyl with custom white labels showing release date of ‘6/25’ and Japanese characters for promotional and not for sale, pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little edgwear, whilst the labels have light foxing and the vinyl displays minimal play with a couple of faint scuffs IP-8904).
