TORI AMOS Strange Days (Superb 2001 UK 32-page 13½” x 9½” glossy calendar programme, featuring twelve double-page calendar months each featuring a different image of Tori. Also includes discography and tour personnel. This copy has been used at the time and has a tape repair on the front & a page inside, otherwise remains excellent).
BINGO HAND JOB Live At The Borderline 1991 (Extremely rare & highly limited 2019 UK individually numbered three colour lithograph print. No witnesses of a Bingo Hand Job gig could be found. No recordings existed. Yet, when it was announced that the enigmatic band and some unusual friends would play London’s 200-capacity Borderline club on 14th & 15th March 1991, tickets were quickly sold out, traded and re-sold at unreasonable prices. Legendary, colossal and now of mythical proportions, the second night which saw Michael Stipe [Stinky], Peter Buck [Raoul], Mike Mills [Ophelia], Bill Berry [The Doc] with friends Spanish Charlie [Peter Holsapple], Conrad [Billy Bragg] and Violet [Robyn Hitchcock], was released as a limited pressing. These prints were produced in a very limited number at the same time of the Record Store Day release, and was given out to lucky people at independent RSD retailing record stores as competition prizes, featuring the artwork used on the limited release, hand numbered 96 out of only 100 produced, measuring 18″ x 24″ in size. Apart from a small light crease in the bottom right corner, this remains in a fantastic condition, ready to be framed & displayed).
PAUL WELLER Suburban 100 – Selected Lyrics (2007 UK 176-page hard back book by John Wilson featuring the lyrics of Paul Weller. It’s been thirty years since Paul Weller and The Jam first burst onto the British music scene, and throughout that time the music and lyrics that have been acclaimed, imitated and loved by so many have revealed to us all, something of the man behind them. In this the only selection of Weller’s lyrics, may be found those songs that span the decades ? from themuch loved, to the lesser known.Here, the frustration and boredom of suburban life that fuelled Weller?s early writing is palpable and so too is the raging but poignant response to Thatcher’s Britain.
