One of the greatest metal bands to come out of the UK, Iron Maiden have carved out a legacy unlike any other. From their early days of playing pubs in Northeast London in the late 70s, to the grandiose heights of arena’s and festivals around the world, Iron Maiden’s die hard fans and collectors have always stuck by this beloved band.
We recently picked up a great collection of Iron Maiden items, featuring some of the best collectables from their illustrious back catalogue. Below are a handful of highlights, but head to our Iron Maiden collectors store at eil.com for our full selection.
Innerview: Rare US vinyl LP radio show hosted by Jim Ladd, includes exclusive interviews with Bruce Dickinson recorded in 1985. Bruce talks about what inspired tracks like ‘Aces High’ plus also includes snippets of tracks taken from the first five studio albums, with a total running time of 51:35 minutes; within a plain card sleeve with the original cue sheet attached to the front and only lists running times for each segment on the disc, this is from series number 32 andis show 4!
Brave New World: Scarce 2016 UK limited edition HMV exclusive 10-track double LP pressed on 180gram Heavyweight Vinyl, first time to be pressed on black vinyl as the original release in 2000 was on Picture Disc, including the singles The Wicker Man & Out Of The Silent Planet, gatefold picture sleeve with printed inners. This was released exclusively in HMV as part of a selection of albums for Father Days. This example remains factory sealed from new with a HMV sticker on the front, mint and unplayed
IRON MAIDEN Live + One (Rare 1980 Japanese 4-track 12″ vinyl EP featuring live versions of Sanctuary, Phantom Of The Opera and Drifter recorded at The Marquee in July 1980, along with the studio recording Women In Uniform, within a unique picture sleeve with the band on-stage and no Eddie in sight, except on the back, complete with the original illustrated Japanese text biography / lyric insert and obi-strip. The sleeve displays some light general wear, and the vinyl shows just light signs of play. A nice example now very hard to find complete with the obi EMS-41001).

This glossy picture sleeve issue is different to the textured original, the sky colour is a much more lighter blue, & comes complete with the illustrated lyric inner. The sleeve shows minimal wear & the vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition despite several paper hairlines not affecting play POWER1)

The glossy picture sleeve shows a little edgewear & scuffing. The vinyl is Excellent with just a few light signs of play FA4131221)

IRON MAIDEN Iron Maiden (1985 UK Fame issue of the debut 1980 8-track vinyl LP, including the now classic Running Free, Phantom Of The Opera & Charlotte The Harlot. The 'Fame' flash picture sleeve displays the original 'Eddie' artwork by DerekRiggs. The sleeve displays some notable wear mostly to the edges, hence grading Very Good. Whilst the vinyl appears to only have a few light hairlines not upsetting play FA4131211)
