ERIC DOLPHY Last Date (Very rare 1964 UK 6-track mono LP on a rough textured black & silver Fontana label, the last recorded concert from the legendary modern jazz artist [Dolphy passed away at just 27], recorded on June the 2nd that year in Hilversum, Holland, with Misja Mengelberg [piano], Jacques Schols [bass] & Hank Bennink [drums], pasted laminate picture sleeve. The sleeve sho signs of shelf wear around the edges & back [nothing excessive], and, aside from some light spindle wear, the vinyl is in Excellent condition with just a few faint hairlines visible TL5284).
MUSIC EXPLOSION with JOHN SURMAN, RAY HARRIS & THE NEW JAZZ SIX Music Explosion (Rare 1973 UK 10-track LP with John Surman & Ray Harris as featured soloists in a large band environment collective produced for BBC Radio Leicester by Roger Eames& sponsored by the East Midlands Arts Association, featuring composition by Mike Westbrook, Roger Eames, Stephen Webb & David Collinson, front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play MSRS.1381).
NOAH HOWARD Space Dimension (Intergalactic 1970 French first press 5-track LP, an incredible rarity for the freeform jazz collector, also starring Frank Wright on tenor sax, Bobby Few on piano & Art Taylor or Muhammad Ali on drums. The glossypicture sleeve reveals only the lightest spot of ring wear starting to show & the vinyl is near ‘as new’. Destination out! 30AM6108).
