SANTANA Lotus (Original Master Recording limited edition 23-track triple album 3-LP mastered by Krieg Wunderlich at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab on the Gain 2 Ultra Analog System, specially plated and pressed on 180-gram High Definition Vinyl across six sides at 33RPM. Featuring rich tones, smooth dynamics, excellent separation, deep soundstages, and involving presence, this reissue pays tribute to both the virtuosic lineup and the indispensable fusion of Latin- and Afro-Cuban-influenced jazz, rock, psychedelia, R&B, and blues. The complexity of the spiritual passages, demands of the crescendos, delicacy of the calm transitions, electricity of the solos: everything is rendered with superb balance free of harshness, compression, and fatiguing peaks that would otherwise distract from the presentations at hand. Housed in an embossed gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve has a little discolouration and minor storage wear, whilst the vinyl shows only light signs of play)

SANTANA Lotus (1974 first Japanese issue 23-track Quadraphonic triple live LP, fully compatible with regular stereo setups, recorded in July 1973 at the Nenkin Hall in Osaka Japan, housed in a wonderful tri-fold sleeve. This collector's copy is complete with its die-cut paper inners, two multi fold-out picture inserts, four double-sided picture inserts, two additional Japanese/catalogue inserts & the 'SX-74 Sound' obi-strip. The sleeve & inserts show a couple of very mild crease marksfrom storage, not uncommon with such a complex sleeve. The cover & all its parts remain fully intact & in outstanding condition, still in the original bag with 'SQ' hype sticker attached, and the vinyl remains in a 'near mint' condition. A top condition copy, the best we have ever seen!)
