KISS – The Originals II: Super Rare 1978 Japanese-only 29-track triple LP, repackaging the albums Destroyer, Rock & Roll Over & Love Gun in a unique gatefold picture sleeve complete with artwork inners, an eight-page lyric booklet, a glossyfull colour eight-page photo booklet, four superb Kiss masks & the original wide obi-strip. The packaging is Excellent with some minor ring wear & light foxing inside, the masks are unused. All three vinyl discs have a brown tint when held to the light & appear unplayed. Very tough find in this complete state!
U2 – Angel Of Harlem: Ultra-Rare 1988 Australian-only limited edition 3-track 12″ single with picture labels, pressed exclusively on RED VINYL & released by Festival Records. Also features A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel & a live recording of Love Rescue Me. The delicate picture sleeve is Excellent & shows some ring wear with age. The vinyl, reportedly limited to just 500 copies, grades VG+/EX- with several light paper hairlines on the b-side notaffecting play & a nice deep sheen both sides. Very hard to find!
Pink Floyd – The Dark Side Of The Moon: Sealed Limited Edition 1981 US ‘Ultra High Quality Recording’ audiophile box set issue of the classic 1973 10-track LP from Mobile Fidelity, custom pressed in a limited run of just 5000 copies from the master stamper at the Victor Company of Japan (JVC) plant in Yokohama in May 1981. The UHQR series was a step up from the already high standard of Mobile Fidleity’s audiophile vinyl series at the time & is now highly collectable; only a few albums were given the UHQR treatment before the series was abandoned as too expensive to produce. Comes housed in a unique 12″ title box with technical spec inserts & numbered certificate. Recently obtained from a retired former executive at Mobile Fidelity, this ultimate collector’s edition remains factory sealed from new, mint & unplayed with impeccable provenance.
