Wolf Alice have scooped this year’s Mercury Music Prize for their 2017 album, Visions of Life.
The North London band beat Arctic Monkeys, King Krule, Jorja Smith, and bookies favourite, Nadine Shah to win the award the ceremony last night, which was held at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. The band were presented with a trophy and £25,000 cheque for winning the award.
