We reported last week about the little teaser that Alter Bridge shared on YouTube, well here are the confirmed details as reported by Planet Rock.
Alter Bridge will immortalise their landmark shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall last autumn with a live album and concert film.
‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall featuring The Parallex Orchestra’ will be released on Blu-Ray, DVD, CD and digital download formats on Friday 7th September via Napalm Records.
Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips played two shows at the world-famous London venue in October flanked by the 52-piece Parallex Orchestra led by conductor Simon Dobson.
The live album will boast all 21 songs performed including Alter Bridge’s biggest hits, fan favourites and rarities including ‘Words Darker Than Their Wings’, a song the band had never performed live before.
Myles Kennedy said of the shows: “I think out of all the years of doing this, this experience is the top two or three highlights without a doubt. It’s something that none of us are going to forget.”
‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall featuring The Parallex Orchestra’ is available to pre-order on Alter Bridge’s official websitenow in a variety of formats and bundles.
A portion of proceeds from sales will go to the Future Song Foundation; a charity supported by Myles Kennedy that aims to ensure young people achieve their potential through the power of music.
