Nothing beats a strong, mood setting soundtrack to bring the best out of a movie. It could be a brooding, ominous score to a horror movie, an Ennio Morricone spaghetti western theme, or a synthwave science fiction score. No matter what the movie is, the soundtrack is key.
We see a few excellent soundtracks pass through our hands here, and below are just some of the latest arrivals. You can view our entire selection in our store now
The Italian Job: Classic 1969 UK 12-track stereo LP soundtrack to the alltime favourite British caper movie, with music composed and conducted by Quincy Jones. Includes lyrics penned by Don Black, ‘On Days Like These’ sung by Matt Monro plus a vocal from leading actor Michael Caine, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little discolouration to the unlaminated reverse & and light creasing at the corners & is free from splits or tears. Thevinyl has been professionally cleaned and, despite some foxing to the labels, grades as EX-/VG+ with just the odd light scuff here & there. This is simply a must-have, so you know what to do… and get a bloomin’ move on. £95
Revolver: Rare 1973 Italian first edition 11-track LP on a deep groove mustard label, featuring Morricone’s fantastic score to the Oliver Reed movie. Includes the Synth Version of ‘Un Amico’. The picture sleeve has some light foxing & creasing with a few scuffs & mild marks. The vinyl remains near ‘as new’ with very few signs of play £75
loween III: Season Of The Witch 1982 US 12-track vinyl LP featuring music composed and performed by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth. The pasted picture sleeve displays some light wear & the vinyl remains excellent withonly a couple of very light surface marks, otherwise a really nice example £75
