Tubby Hayes – Return Visit!: Rare original Dutch issue black & silver Fontana label 5-track mono vinyl LP of the 1963 album recorded live in New York on 23rd June 1962, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with liner notes by Tubby Hayes. Both sleeve & vinyl are in superb condition 45+ years on!
CMU – Space Cabaret: Rare 1973 UK 4-track LP, complete with illustrated lyric insert, picture sleeve. Often described as a cross between Arthur Brown and Affinity, this enticing blend of Jazz Rock, Folk & Psyche is now getting very hard to find and it was to be their last and finest album. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains in exellent condition with few signs of play. Only now is this album beginning to get the reputation it deserves .
Chet Baker and Art Pepper – Picture Of Heath: Rare 1961 US 7-track deep groove mono LP on a black & silver Pacific Jazz label, the classic meeting between the two giants of the West Coast ‘cool school’, first released in 1956 under the title Playboys. Also features the talents of Phil Urso on Tenor, Carl Perkins on Piano, Curtis Counce on Bass & Lawrence Marable on Drums, great picture sleeve variant. The heavy card sleeve has a 6″ hairline split along the top which has been neatly tape reinforced, & the panels are in Excellent condition with no writing or wear that upsets the print. The vinyl appears practically Near Mint with minimal sign of play at all.
