Ride have announced a brand new EP, Tomorrow’s Shores, and are streaming a new track, Catch You Dreaming. It follows on from their 2017 comeback album, Weather Diaries, and once again are produced by Erol Alkan and Alan Moulder.
“The EP was made with an identical process to ‘Weather Diaries’ and we see it as very much tied to the album,” said vocalist/guitarist, Andy Bell.
“The song itself was intended to be a part of ‘Weather Diaries’, and recording started during the sessions in Autumn 2016,” Bell said of Catch You Dreaming. But we never managed to record a definitive version at the time and decided to come back to it later as part of a follow up EP, which is no”w finished, and titled Tomorrow’s Shore.”
Ride have also announced a one-off London headline show at The ULU in London on February 16th, the day the 12″ EP is released, and they will join The Cure at Hyde Park for a huge British Summertime Show in July.
