A new posthumous release from Jimi Hendrix will be released in the new year, and will include 10 previously unheard recordings.
Both Sides of The Sky is due out on March 9, 2018 via Sony Legacy Recordings, and compiles material recorded between January 1968 and February 1970.
“Jimi’s true home was the studio – that’s where the music and the magic happened,” said long-time Hendrix engineer, Eddie Kramer in a statement about the project. “He loved everything about recording, and it’s been my distinct pleasure and an honor to play a part in that process both then and now.”
