After putting to rest all of the ‘will he/won’t he’ rumours, Morrissey has announced the release of his new album, Low In High School.
The album will “capture the zeitgeist of an ever-changing world,” according to a statement from Morrissey, which will be released on November 17 on his own label, Etienne Records, and distributed by BMG. It will be his first album since 2014’s World Peace Is None Of Your Business, and was recorded between La Fabrique Studios in southern France and Ennio Morricone’s Forum Studios in Rome.
“His lyrics, humour and melodies have influenced many generations,” added Korda Marshall from BMG. “The music on this new landmark record will speak for itself and we are delighted to welcome him to BMG.”
