The UK’s first vinyl festival comes to London on 23-24th September 2017 – get it in your diary!

An “immersive vinyl experience.”

The Vinyl Festival is a new two-day event set to take place at London’s Printworks venue on 23rd and 24th September.

Part label market, part tech fair, The Vinyl Festival will allow visitors to browse curated selections from over 100 stalls, covering music and audio gear, as well as have their records evaluated by experts.

With tickets for the event ranging between £16 and £40, visitors can also expect Q&As with usual suspects Tim Burgess, Huey Morgan, Edith Bowman and Steve Lamacq, who will also be DJing throughout the weekend.

With the prominence of events like Record Store Day and Independent Label Market or more local events like last month’s Run Out in Peckham, Gary Walker, the editor of Long Live Vinyl, whose publisher is organising the event, has emphasised the The Vinyl Festival’s role in celebrating “the very best of the format we all love.”

“It’s exactly what our readers have been crying out for,” he said. [via Resident Advisor]
