Includes the track ‘This Is Not America’ performed by the late David Bowie & The Pat Metheny Group, picture sleeve with large promo punch-hole top right, a composer credit sticker on the back & large song hype sticker on the front. HANK MOBLEY Poppin’(Rare limited 1980 Japanese-only 5-track stereo vinyl LP, the first in King Records’ ‘World First Appearance’ series [later issued as GXK-8163], containing a previously unreleased session recording from 20/10/57 that was shelved by Blue Note, but sounded just as good as anything Alfred Lion put out at the time, starring Art Farmer, Pepper Adams, Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers & Philly Joe Jones. Unique picture sleeve complete with Japanese insert and obi-strip. The vinyl is immaculate – one of the rarest title in the series! Issued in ajewel case with picture sleeve booklet containing liner notes by Bill Milkowski and new performance photographs, plus outer picture slipcase, more info hereUltimate Jazz, rare originals…..MODERN JAZZ QUARTET Space(Rare Japanese Apple label 5-track stereo LP pressed on RED VINYL by Toshiba Musical Industries, housed in a colour pasted gatefold picture sleeve with Japanese text biography insert. The sleeve has just a little minor corner scuffing and, with the labels free from spindle wear, the vinyl is in near mint condition. A top copy of this rarity, more info here
