THE BEATLES The Beatles Collection: Rare 1978 Australian Thirteen vinyl LP box set, with each album in their own original issue sleeve with all relevant inserts, housed within a high quality black text on Gold leaf 12″ textured box which was unique to Australia. The box was withdrawn for the fragile nature of the gold leaf covering falling off from the box, leading it to be replaced with the more familar blue version, complete with the indivially numbered certificate. Amazingly, the box on this example shows minimal wear with fully intact gold covering and just a small amount of foxing, whilst the vinyl shows very little evidence of play. A fantastic example of thie rare version of this amazing set! ***Limited to only 4000 copies*** More info here
PINK FLOYD Atom Heart Mother: Rare official US RIAA Certified Gold Award issued to commemorate American CD & Cassette album sales in excess of 500,000 copies. This nicely framed and glazed award measures 13″ x 17″ in size, and features the album artwork overlapping a golden Compact Disc at the top, ‘Gold Saled Award’ cassette shell in the middle and the authentic, custom engraved dedication plaque with ‘R’ style RIAA hologram at the bottom. Allmounted on a blue background with a black surround in a black plastic coated wooden frame. A really nice item and first award we have ever had for this album, more info here
JIMI HENDRIX Electric Ladyland: Rare 1970 UK second issue of the classic 1968 16-track double LP, fully laminated Ernest J. Day gatefold picture sleeve with smaller internal pictures of Mitch & Noel & no additional upside down catalogue numbers on the labels. More info here
