THE BEATLES The Beatles Christmas Album: Rare genuine original 1970 US fan-club only 7-track LP on custom Apple labels with ‘Not For Sale’ print, with hand-scratched SBC-1-100-A SF/SBC-2-100-B SF matrices, ‘Bell Sound’ stampers & Winchester, VA pressing plant rifle logo in the run-outs. Features all the recordings from the band’s Christmas flexi discs collated onto one LP, unique custom picture sleeve. The sleeve is very delicate & exhibits a few natural paper hairline splits around the edges, holding up superbly with both panels revealing just minor fading in places to show it’s the real deal from 1970. The vinyl is Excellent, professionally cleaned, the disc reveals with very little evidence of play. A wonderful copy of this hard to find LP that was never available for retail sale, more info hereTHE KINKS Are The Village Green Preservation Society: With the title, label & catalogue number, that’s where any similarity ends with this 1968 Swedish first press [-1 matrices] stereo LP. For starters it has TWELVE tracks, not fifteen as on UK/US issues, plus they’re in a different order with two not on UK/US issues. The labels are plum & silver with ‘Licensed By Pye Ltd, England’ perimeter print & the sleeve is unique with a band photo on the front & tracklisting/discography on the back. More info herePRINCE Scandalous Sex Suite: Very Rare Test Pressing for the 1989 US 5-track 12″ single taken from the Batman soundtrack, including three versions featuring Kim Basinger plus Sex & When 2 R In Love. The labels are plain white & unannotated, with the ‘0-21422’ catalogue detail etched in the run-offs. Never sold to the public in this form & made purely to test the sonics, these were pressed in a tiny handful. More info here
