This week saw a couple of gems arrive by Tom Waits – sealed from new original US Vinyl Albums from 1975 and 1977: Nighthawks At The Diner & Foreign Affairs.
Get them whilst they’re hot!
Nighthawks At The Diner – Sealed 1975 US 18-track double live LP, recorded in studio in front of a specially invited audience to emulate a nightclub atmosphere & some of the memorable banter of a Waits concert at the time – a must hear! All words are transcribed across the inner spread of the gatefold sleeve. The sleeve has a small deletion punch-hole top right & remains tightly sealed from new, the vinyl strictly mint. This is one of many Waits records that are just starting to be relinquished from the private collection of Bones Howe, the album’s original engineer. One for the serious collector 7E-2008
Foreign Affairs – Sealed 1977 US 9-track LP, a classic Waits album produced by Bones Howe & obtained directly from the producer’s private collection. The sleeve has a small deletion punch-hole top right & remains tightly sealed from new, the vinyl strictly mint. Waits’ late seventies period on record found here has aged like a fine wine & we envy anyone playing this album for the first time! 7E-1117.
