ROLLING STONES Steel Wheels Japan Tour 1990: Super Rare 1990 Japanese 22-track promotional only 2-CD set, featuring some of the choicest cuts from the band’s back catalogue. The discs are near ‘as new’ & come housed in a thick double album jewel case with custom picture inlay & a tracklist ‘Not For Sale’ backing insert. To compliment this collector’s set, we have a never-before-seen press kit specially made for the release, comprising seven pages of Japanese A4 press material including biography & discography details, & a 4″ square colour tongue logo sticker, all kept in a 12.5″ x 9.5″ silver on white ‘Steel Wheels’ picture folder. Incredible! More info hereDAVID BOWIE Rock ‘N’ Roll Now: 1973 Japanese promotional-only 12-track LP sampler, originally issued to coincide with, & promote, Bowie’s first Japanese tour. The labels are custom silver on white with Japanese tracklist print. The gatefold sleeve is a unique screen printed design & opens to reveal a cool picture of David, a Japanese biography & brief discography with details of the forthcoming Aladdin Sane album on ‘May 25th’. Due to its matte finish, the cover shows some light discolouring & creasing from handling with no blemishes to the actual print. The vinyl grades VG/VG+ with a number of light paper scuffs, spindle & the odd faint hairline not affecting play, & the disc produces a dark translucent brown glow when held to light. This LP rarely appears for sale & is one of the top-rated Japanese Bowie collectables, full info hereTALK TALK Laughing Stock: Rare 1991 UK 6-track vinyl LP manufactured in Holland for the UK market, the groups fifth and final studio album recorded with a huge complement of string instruments, a far cry from the pop music of the band’s earlydays, complete with lyric inner, picture sleeve.
