TUBBY HAYES QUARTET Tubby’s Groove: Very rare & desirable British Jazz 1960 first UK press 6-track deep groove mono LP on the legendary Tempo label, recorded in Tubbs’ prime in December 1959 at Decca Studios & widely considered his greatest studio album. Also stars Terry Shannon, Jeff Clyne & Phil Seamen & includes ‘Embers’ where Tubby plays the vibes, fully laminated flipback picture sleeve. More info hereBOB DYLAN I Want You: Very rare 1966 Japanese wide centred 7″ mono single, manufactured by Nippon Columbia Co. Ltd & released by CBS in Japan before the company was taken over by Sony. Also features Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues, housed in the original die-cut company sleeve complete with a unique wraparound picture insert with ¥370 price point, lyrics to both songs on the inside & Japanese information/lyrics on the back. The thin delicate insert is stunning with no writing or tears & just one or two tiny patches of faint foxing barely noticeable. The vinyl is mouthwatering near ‘as new. More info here
SEX PISTOLS Never Mind The Bollocks: Very desirable 1977 Japanese first issue 11-track vinyl LP on the dark blue & silver Columbia label, with the tracks in a different sequence to the UK release and excluding ‘Submission’, picture sleeve complete with four-page Japanese / lyric insert and wide ‘Black Splatter’ obi-strip.
