GRYPHON EP
It may not be much to look at but this is an extremely rare, circa 1972, UK 4-track solid centre white label vinyl 7″ EP test pressing with ‘PMS 106 A IE’ & ‘PMS 106 B IE’ stamped matrices, this was likely issued as a sampler for the group’s debut self-titled album released in 1973, including Kemp’s Jig, The Unquiet Grave, Juniper Suite and Estampie. The labels are plain white with just the group name hand annotated on the B-side, with plain die-cut paper sleeve. The vinyl has some surface scuffs but nothing too excessive, and plays through without issue and very little lessening in sound quality. An unbelievable find with very little details to be found anywhere, a possible candidate for one of the earliest Gryphon items to be discovered, certainly not to be missed!
