MOTT THE HOOPLE We’ve Got A Great Future Behind Us – 2014 UK strictly limited edition 255 page comprehensive coffee table book, the first full collaboration between all former and present band members revealing Mott’s unique and compelling history, contains a plethora of unseen and unpublished content taken from all band member’s personal photo archives, and foreword by The Clash’s Mick Jones, presented in a luxury large format of 370mm x 290mm and housed in a striking clamshell box. Also includes an exclusive gold disc DVD of Mott’s 1974 US Tour, featuring footage shot by Morgan Fisher on his hand-held camera, which is mounted onto the book’s back cover. This has been signed by Verden Allen, Ian Hunter, Mick Ralphs and Pete Overend Watts, with a facsimile signature of Dale “Buffin” Griffin, as he was too ill at the time. Pete Watts sadly passed away in 2017 and Dale Griffin in 2016. Individually numbered out of 1000, with this example number 65, and includes a black & white photo which is numbered 65/200. Apart from a small dink to the back top right corner of the box, this example remain in a fantastic condition.
NEIL Neil’s Heavy Concept Album – Autographed 1984 UK 20-track ‘concept’ LP from The Young One’s Neil, including versions of Hole In My Shoe & My White Bicycle & featuring contributions from Stephen Fry, Dawn French, Roland Rivron, Pip Pyle [Gong] & Bryson Graham [Spooky Tooth], picture sleeve with red inner & mock-‘Sgt. Pepper’ insert. What makes this item interesting is that it has been Clearly Signed on the reverse ‘love and peace Neil – Nigel Planer, making this very collectable. The cover shows some wear and corner creasing & the vinyl looks barely played.
ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK Getting Sentimental – 1985 UK 16-track vinyl LP compilation, featuring As Time Goes By, The More I See You and Stardust among many others, picture sleeve. The sleeve has been clearly clearly signed Best Wishes Engelbert Humperdink on the front in black marker and has only light wear and the vinyl looks seldom played.
IAN ANDERSON Homo Erraticus – 2015 UK limited edition deluxe 4-disc set, comprising the 15-track CD album, a second CD of demos, an audio DVD with the album in 5.1 and 24 Bit high resolution, a DVD with interviews, artwork & ‘making of’ documentary, housed in a sixty page hardback book with blue hessian cover & gold embossed text. This copy has been clearly autographed ‘Hello! Ian Anderson Tull’ on the front.
