Roy Harper is something of an English music enigma, sure he could pick a mean guitar like his early ‘60s British folk contemporaries Bert Jansch, Davey Graham and Anne Briggs. However, a love of jazz, the beat poets, modern classical and earthy US blues and folk would always set him apart from it. Over the years he would prove to be an enduring influence on Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Pete Townshend, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd whilst more recently he’s found a new audience via modern US alternative folkies Joanna Newsome and Fleet Foxes.

ROY HARPER An Evening With Roy Harper, Guest Artist Judee Sill: Rare 1973 UK 8 page concert programme, with ‘A few Words From Your Schizoid Sponsor’ text by Roy & advert for the Lifemask album on the inside front cover, a page dedicated to Judee Sill along with an advert for her album on the inside of the back cover, whilst the back is printed with lyrics for I’ll See You Again. This example is in an amazing condition and shows little evidence of wear or age, a fantastic copy and the first we have ever seen! More info hereROY HARPER Flat Baroque And Berserk: Classic 1969 1st press UK 12-track LP with ‘Gramophone Co’ text & with the ‘H.Ash’ credit on the label, front laminated gatefold picture sleeve, more info hereROY HARPER Stormcock: Another amazing find by our buyers. 1971 UK single sided white label test pressing for the B-Side of first issue vinyl LP, with ‘SHVL 789 B-1’ stamped matrix, hand annoated artist name, album title, year, catalogue number and two songs listed, all written in black, comes in a textured gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve has some wear and the vinyl has just a few light cosmetic scuffs, but what makes this even more special, it has been signed by Roy simplyas ‘Roy H.’ on the inside in a black pen.
