Latest Memorabilia Arrivals Christmas Gift ideas from Nick Cave, The Jam, Japan and More

Memorabilia has always been a big part of the music world, going back right back to the advent of record shops. Whether it was promotional only material that was distributed by labels, or weird and wonder items manufactured by the bands or labels for general sale, they make for nice collector’s pieces and can really finish off a collection.

We see all kind of memorabilia pass through our hands and below are just a few of the highlights that we have in stock at eil.com

NICK CAVE Crystal Ballrom Poster (Rare signed, numbered limited 2002 US 12″ x 25″ silkscreen poster on chipboard, designed by Gary Houston and Mike King and printed by Voodoo Catbox. Expertly hand-pulled at GH Design, AoMR 151.3, with full printing and copyright credits along the lower edge above the artist signatures and hand-numbered edition details. Created for the 21st April 2002 Crystal Ballroom show in Portland, Oregon, featuring support from Khan and Kid Congo Powers, with all date and time information displayed beneath the bold, eye-catching artwork. Beautifully preserved, with only a faint line of surface creasing at the mid-point and a couple of tiny marks visible upon close inspection, otherwise bright, clean and impressively vivid, with no signs of previous wall display. An exceptionally limited piece of original concert art — this example being a desirable low number #17 of just 160 — and a perfect statement piece for prominent display!)

THE JAM The Sound Of The Jam (Scarce 2002 UK 164-page softback songbook with twenty-six of their best known songs from throughout their career, all arranged for standard notation and guitar tablature, including In The City, Down In The Tube Station At Midnight, The Eton Rifles, Going Underground, Town Called Malice, Beat Surrender and more. The cover has a small nick in the spine and shows a little light creasing, whilst all inside pages show only minimal wear AM974930)

JAPAN A Tourist’s Guide To Japan (Rare 1982 UK 32-page 11″ x 8″ softback book by Arthur A. Pitt, packed with information, photographs and & full discography, and a glossy picture cover. The cover has a little creasing near the spine, but the inner pages show minimal wear – a fantastic example)
