JACINTHA Autumn Leaves (The Songs Of Johnny Mercer) (Rare 1999 US limited edition 12-track audiophile 2 x LP set pressed on 180gm Virgin Vinyl, featuring ‘And The Angels Sing’ & ‘Moon River’, picture sleeve. Housed in a glossy picture sleeve with lyric insert. The sleeve shows minimal wear, whilst the vinyl shows very few signs of play; leaving it in Near Mint to Excellent condition GRV1006-1)
SATISFACTION Satisfaction (Very hard to find 1970 UK boxed Decca label 7-track stereo LP, a tasty fusion of jazzy, progressive RnB by the British outfit led by Mike Cotton, a veteran of the early sixties British R&B scene, also starring John Beecham (trombone), Derek Griffiths (guitar, vocals), Bernie Higginson (drums, vocals), Lem Lubin (saxophone) & Nick Newell (saxophone). The front laminated sleeve has a small half inch split in the top edge but is otherwise in superb condition – the vinyl is near mint. Recommended! SKL5075)
THELONIOUS MONK QUARTET Thelonious In Action (1961 UK 7-track mono LP on the white ‘reel & mic’ label, featuring a stellar line-up of Monk with Johnny Griffin on tenor, Ahmed Abdul-Malik, bass & Roy Haynes, drums, recorded at the famous Five Spot Cafe, NYC in August, ’58. The front laminated flipback picture sleeve shows light wear & the vinyl reveals minimal play. A lovely example RLP12-262)
