GENTLE GIANT Acquiring The Taste (Rare 1971 UK first press 8-track vinyl LP on the Vertigo 'swirl' label - This album took the band into more experimental & darker areas but is still their own recognisable sound - a rich blend of hard rock & orchestration - with hints of influences from King Crimson and Van Der Graaf Generator. Complete with the poly-lined 'swirl' inner and lyrics printed across the inside, the gatefold picture sleeve has some light shelfwear scuffing to the edges / corners and has a vintage price sticker attached to the front, while also displays some spots of age discolouration but its pretty damn good considering it was never laminated. With just a few light signs of play visible, the vinyl remains in fantastic Excellent condition for its over FIFTY years. Now hard to find in any condition!)
- Gentle Giant - Three Friends - 2nd - UK - vinyl LP - £295.00, $371.70, €356.95 (New Item) (arrived 02-Jul-2024 16:32)on February 22, 2025 at 5:25 am
GENTLE GIANT Three Friends (Rare 1973 UK 6-track LP on the small Vertigo 'swirl' label with second variant 'Made In England' label text, matt gatefold picture sleeve with die-cut poly-lined swirl inner. The sleeve shows only minimal signs of storage with very little shelf wear for its age & the vinyl shows few signs of play)

GENTLE GIANT Acquiring The Taste (1971 first UK issue 8-track vinyl LP on the Vertigo 'swirl' label. This album took the band into more experimental & darker areas but is still their own recognisable sound - a rich blend of hard rock & orchestration - with hints of influences from King Crimson & Van Der Graaf Generator, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve with the poly lined 'swirl' die-cut inner. The sleeve displays some minor general wear with some edge & corner scuffing, and hassome strange blank ink marks on the back, but still pretty damn good considering it was never laminated. The labels have a few light spindle marks and light signs of age, whilst the vinyl has only a few light signs of play. Overall a Very Good example, making an ideal play copy)
- Gentle Giant - Octopus - 1st - VG - UK - vinyl LP - £150.00, $189.00, €181.50 (New Item) (arrived 15-Apr-2024 11:00)on February 22, 2025 at 5:25 am
GENTLE GIANT Octopus (Rare 1972 UK first press 8-track LP on the Vertigo 'swirl' label, housed in a Roger Dean designed gatefold picture sleeve, complete with the die-cut poly-lined 'swirl' inner. The sleeve displays just some minor general wear with minimal discolouring & corner or edge wear, the spine print is clearly legible. The labels have a few spindle marks whilst the vinyl remains clean with only a few light surface scuffs & hairlines not affecting play. Overall this is a VeryGood+ example of this progressive masterpiece!)
- Gentle Giant - Gentle Giant - 2nd - EX - UK - vinyl LP - £75.00, $94.50, €90.75 (New Item) (arrived 06-May-2024 10:18)on February 22, 2025 at 5:25 am
GENTLE GIANT Gentle Giant (Mid 70s UK second issue of the debut 1970 7-track LP on the 'spaceship' Vertigo label, the innovative first album from the Shulman brothers & co, including the big-riff laden opener, Giant, & staple, longterm live set regulars, Funny Ways & Isn't It Quiet And Cold, featuring the late, first drummer Martin Smith, housed in the brilliant 'Giant with band in hands' gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light general wear whilst the vinyl displays faint hairlines, which have no real impact on play)
Would love to see it released as CDs.
