THE WHO Live At Leeds (Rare 1970 UK first press 6-track LP with machine stamped A1/B1 matrices, recorded live at Leeds University on February 14th 1970, housed in the original gatefold 'bootleg' style stapled pocket sleeve with BLACK text on the front & complete with all twelve inserts including photos & repro band letters, receipts & lyrics and the scarce first issue 'Tuesdays At The Marquee' poster. The packaging shows light wear with creasing to the inserts, though nothing too severe. The Side One label has the previous owner's name annotated to it, however the vinyl itself is a standout Excellent with very faint signs of play; this is the very first issue & is complete with all its components. THE WHO Live At Leeds (Rare 1970 UK first press 6-track LP with machine stamped A1/B1 matrices, recorded live at Leeds University on February 14th 1970, housed in the original gatefold 'bootleg' style stapled pocket sleeve with BLACK text on the front & complete with all twelve inserts including photos & repro band letters, receipts & lyrics. This copy comes with the early variant of the poster which has 'Tuesdays at the Marquee' text along the bottom [apparently limited to 300 copies], as compared to later issues which have 'Live At Leeds' text. The 'bootleg' style sleeve shows some minor general wear. The cover has a small set of initials in the top right corner [also on the side one label, unobtrusive to the print], otherwise there is only a little light edge scuffing & some minor fading to the spine, & the black print remains strikingly vivid. All twelve inserts are present & correct & appear in fantastic shape & remain unused. The vinyl grades VG with some spindle marks by the centre hole to indicate play & some light hairlines, there is a deep sheen both sides & playback reveals no great loss in fidelity, seeing as this is The Who record where they attempt to outdo Led Zep for sheer volume! The delicate sleeve shows only minimal wear with very little of the creasing usually found and even the staples are still shiny! Aside from a few odd light inevitable corner creases, the inserts show minimal sign of wear with the poster unused. THE WHO Quadrophenia (Classic 1973 UK 17-track double vinyl LP, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve with a deluxe forty-four page full size booklet containing pictures & lyrics to the album. The sleeve is Very Good with ring wear scuffing, paper marks around the edges and a tear on the opening edge, not uncommon, with all print clearly legible. The vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with a few paper hairlines not affecting play)
