Originally released in 1994, the album features 11 blues performances recorded by Hendrix between 1966 and1970 showcasing his mastery of the 12-bar form. Blues is probably the best packaged, richest sounding, most coherent post-mortem release from the Hendrix archives. Framed by his poignant 1967 acoustic 12-string rendition of “Hear My Train ‘A Comin'” and a stirring 1970 trio performance, these 11 rough and ready tracks illustrate Jimi’s deep spiritual connections to his blues roots and his daring experimental take on the shape of future blues to come; they’ve never sounded so vital, necessary or dynamic! This historic performance by the original Buena Vista Social Club, at New York’s famous Carnegie Hall,was the centre-piece of the hugely successful film directed by Wim Wenders. Produced by Ry Cooder, the album features brilliant and unrepeatable performances by legends including Ibrahim Ferrer, Compay Segundo, Rubén González, EliadesOchoa, OmaraPortuondo, Cachaíto López, and Guajiro Mirabal. THE DUKES OF STRATOSPHEAR Psurroundabout Ride (2019 UK limited edition 2CD set that compiles the newly remastered 5:1 surround mixes by Steven Wilson, the 2019 Stereo Mixes, Instrumental Mixes, Original Stereo Mix plus twelve previously unrelased demos, housed in a sealed outer slipcase with a double clear tray digipak-style cover and 16-page booklet. This copy is still sealed and in brand new condition APEBD120).
ELVIS PRESLEY The King Of Western Bop (2005 UK 27-track compilation double LP pressed on audiophile heavyweight vinyl featuring remastered tracks from his early days at Sun Records, picture sleeve. These tracks, recorded in 1953 & 1954, helpedmake Elvis’ name & took him to the verge of being the greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll icon in the world. The collection also includes early takes in progress and studio conversations between Elvis and his producers. This copy remains factory sealed from new, still mint & unplayed S160055).
PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon (Rare 1978 Japanese Pro-Use Series edition of the classic 1973 10-track LP, manufactured by Toshiba. Comes housed in a deluxe gatefold picture sleeve which has the series logo printed in the top left corner& includes the fold-out Japanese insert & 12-page discography booklet. The packaging is Excellent with some faint shelf wear & the vinyl is Near Mint with few signs of play EMLF-97002).
