Nothing beats a strong, mood setting soundtrack to bring the best out of a movie. It could be a brooding, ominous score to a horror movie, an Ennio Morricone spaghetti western theme, or a synthwave science fiction score. No matter what the movie is, the soundtrack is key.
We see a few excellent soundtracks pass through our hands here, and below are just some of the latest arrivals. You can view our entire selection in our store now.
The Commitments: 1991 German 14-track vinyl LP featuring the music to the soundtrack of the film, picture sleeve featuring stills from the movie. The sleeve shows some minor shelfwear & the vinyl has only light signs of play.
Christabel: 1988 UK 7-track vinyl LP, the soundtrack to the BBC TV series, includes tracks by Stanley Myers, Lew Stone and the track I’m Following You by Annette Hanshaw, picture sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl appears barely played.
The Missouri Breaks: 1976 UK 13-track LP, featuring John Williams’ score from the soundtrack to the Arthur Penn picture, starring Jack Nicholson & Marlon Brando. The US pressing was a favourite selection in The Absolute Sound (TAS) magazine for audiophile collectors, & the UK issue is just as good! The picture sleeve shows light ring wear scuffing & the vinyl grades EX/EX- with a few faint paper hairline scuffs to show play.
