BRITTEN The Rape of Lucretia – 1971 UK purple narrow band label stereo double LP boxed set, performed by Heather Harper, Janet Baker, Peter Pears, Bryan Drake, Benjamin Luxon, John Shirley-Quirk, Elizabeth Bainbridge & Jenny Hill wth the English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by the composer. Comes housed in a 12″ glossy picture box with a 23-page booklet. The packaging shows very little of its years & both vinyl discs appear barely played SET492-3
MALCOLM ARNOLD conducts THE LONDON PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA English, Scottish & Cornish Dances – Archive Quality TAS Listed 1979 UK Lyrita stereo LP pressed by Decca, front laminated picture sleeve. Both the sleeve & vinyl appear near ‘as new’ SRCS.109
ALEXANDER GIBSON conducts THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE ORCHESTRA Gounod: “Faust” Ballet Music / Bizet: “Carmen” Suite – Limited Edition 2016 US stereo LP cut by Bernie Grundman & pressed on Quiex 200gram Vinyl, with the labels replicating the original colour ‘Nipper’ design in the RCA Living Stereo series, housed in a deluxe pasted picture sleeve replicating the original album’s artwork. The sleeve is Near Mint & the heavyweight vinyl appears Excellent with minimal play LSC-2449
