The OST to the 1996 movie became an ‘event’ in itself, with Underworld’s ‘Born Slippy’ being as synonymous with the ’90s as Oasis, Spice Girls and the film’s opening ‘Choose Life’ montage. Now it’s back, with Trainspotting 2 about to hit the cinemas and a brand new noughties soundtrack supplied by ‘oldies’ like the Prodigy, a new version of Born Slippy from Underworld called Slow Slippy plus ‘newies’ like Young Fathers, Wolf Alice and Fat White Family.
