“On the second day of the Animals photo shoot at London’s Battersea Power Station, the mischievous Algie decided to break his moorings and floated off. Soon joining the flight path for Heathrow Airport (alarming pilots along the way, as this cartoon at the time hints at) the pig eventually landed at – fittingly – a pig farm in Kent.”
We could only dream of getting our hands on the legendary Algie pig but we did get our hands on this incredible and genuine Algie Pig store display some time ago – one of our coolest acquisitions. Whilst he’s gone to a very happy owner we still have some amazing vintage collectables in stock and perfect for Collectors for Christmas.
