BARRY GRAY Thunderbirds (2020 UK/EU limited edition 37-track 2-LP set pressed on Sky Blue Vinyl. Gatefold picture sleeve featuring all the characters from International Rescue that youknow and love! Sealed with a rice-paper obi. Following releases of the UFO and Supercar soundtracks, Thunderbirds is the third in the series from Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s iconic TV shows. It is newly compiled, mastered and designed by thecreative teamat Fanderson (The Official Gerry and Sylvia Anderson Appreciation Society), who have access to Barry Gray’s original studio tapes. The album features 37 tracks from 19 episodes (series 1 and 2), including the Thunderbirds main theme and closing titles. The tracks were not programmed to follow the episode order but to achieve an integrated listening experience. The best bits of the sixties’ soundscapes are here. The Thunderbirds soundtrack is an effective time capsule as Gray’s music veers into British spy genre, Latin pop, exotica, urban jazz and military marches. Beautifully composed and conducted, the score reflects the moods of the scenes, from dangerous to romantic and no-nonsense to silly. F-A-B !).
ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK El Topo (Rare 1970 US Apple label 18-track LP, featuring music from the soundtrack of the cult film by Alexandro Jodorowsky, great gatefold picture sleeve with integral full colour picture booklet. The sleeve shows only thevery lightest spot of ring wear & the vinyl appears near mint SWAO-3388).
BARRY GRAY Fireball XL5 (2021 UK limited edition 24-track 2-LP pressed on Translucent Orange Vinyl, the soundtrack to the 1962 series Fireball XL5. Set in 2062 the series followed the exploits of the eponymous spaceship commanded by Colonel Steve Zodiac of the World Space Patrol. Composer Barry Gray’s jazzy style is supplemented by the use of an electronically augmented keyboard, the Ondes Martenot, creating the other-worldly atmosphere which became synonymous with the sci-fi series. This fourth LP in the ongoing series follows Supercar, UFO and of course, Thunderbirds. Gatefold picture sleeve SILLP1595).

ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Xtro (1983 UK 12-track LP featuring Harry Bromley Davenport's own soundtrack to his cult sci-fi horror classic, with its grotesque visuals and baffling plot, the wonders of Xtro are a joy to behold [hilariously ending up on the video nasty list], Davenport could have been our own answer to John Carpenter. The glossy picture sleeve shows only minor age wear and aside from one blemish on the vinyl, which does not affect play, it remains in excellent conditon TER1052)

ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Maniac (Rare original 1981 US 15-track Varèse Sarabande label vinyl LP, with pasted picture sleeve. Jay Chattaway's eerie soundtrack to the brutal slasher film, which while not officially listed as a video nasty, was swept up in the panic of the time in certain areas of the UK. It has since been cited as one of the greatest slasher movies of all time. The sleeve shows some very minor wear from storage, but the all important vinyl reamains in near mint condition. Original copies of this are very hard to find and this is the first time we have seen one here. Recommended)

ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Slumber Party Massacre (Rare original 1982 US 9-track vinyl LP, with pasted picture sleeve. Ralph Jones' minimal electro score the classic slasher movie, which would spawn a generation of sequels and spin-offs. The sleeve on this copy retains its original shrink, and the vinyl displays little evidence of play and is in all round excellent condition. This is first copy of this soundtrack we have seen here, and to find one in this condition is near impossible with noneed to upgrade. Recommended)

ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Pet Sematary (Rare original 1989 US Varèse Sarabande label 22-track vinyl LP, with picture sleeve. Elliot Goldenthal's soundtrack to Stephen Kings classic horror movie, which is equally as haunting when played on it's own as it is as part of the movie. The sleeve on this copy shows only the lightest of edgewear from storage, but has survived for more than 30 years in the wild in stunning condition. The vinyl itself only has one or two hairlines to indicate play, but finding a copy in this close to near mint condition is nearly impossible now. This is the first, and possibly only time we will have this essential soundtack in stock. Sometimes dead is better....)
